Challenge: Find a single article in Monthly Review that predicts "that the U.S. empire is about to collapse from its 'internal contradctions' " - hint - there hasn't ever been one.

In fact we have had more discussion on what "crisis" in capitalism means than you'll find anywhere else - most recently in the Nov 2002 issue <http://www.monthlyreview.org/nov2002.htm>, though of course you'd have to read the magazine to know that. So much easier to talk about what we publish without reading the mag.
