_Guns, Germs, and Steel_ is probably one of the most anti-racist arguments around. Its main conclusion is that differences in the level of development among nations - which is what fuels racist drivel - can be explained by geographical and historical accidents, essentially having or not having access to the right natural resources at a critical time, and have little to do with "civilisational superiority."
