The head of Peace Now's settlements watch, Dror Atkes, will give testimony on Wednesday before a U.S. Senate sub-committee on the Middle East about the political, security, economic and demographic effect of the settlements.
He plans to show the committee members updated maps of the outposts in the territories and data about plans for expanding settlements, a Peace Now spokesman said.
Atkes will also propose that the U.S. should not cut loan guarantees to Israel but divert the money to helping settlers who wish to return to live inside the Green Line.
