You mean, I presume, the Jews -- the Arab citizens of Israel and the residents of the occupied territories are not, in your book, "the people of Israel." They are presumably terrorist scum who need to be ground under the Iron heel after the Israelis have bulldozed their houses and picked off their leaders with attack helicopters. But in fact I think the answer to your question is that the Israeli Jews stay where they are, if they so choose, in a democratic secular society. Except for the settlements. They have to go. Maybe the settlers can move to the Negev and make the desert bloom. Maybe they can move back within the 67 borders and live like normal people.

I am continually astounded at your blinkered vision, Brad, your unremitting concern for the rights and privileges of the wealthy and powerful at the expense of those they have victimized. I guess that is your pass onto the advisory boards of Democratic administrations. I don't suggest that you are venal or insincere -- just that you are genuinely and as a matter of conviction a lacky of the imperialist bourgeoisie. It's ort of fascinating, like having a pet scorpion on the list.

jks
