I picked John Kerry to win the election several months ago, but I'd argue that Bush has a big edge right now simply because the Bush machine knows how to spin its propaganda. They are very deft at shifting gears and creating distractions. Right now it looks like they are trying to shift the WMD blame on the CIA, which might work until the election, but there might be some interesting blowback from the CIA.

The left and the Democrats are way to confident about their chances to beat Bush with the unfavorable developments concerning the Iraq war. Voters are worried about the economy. If the Dems can't talk class war on bread and butter issues, they will lose in the Fall. If the Dems zero in on the economic worries and if they force more radicalizing developments out of the White House, they should squeak by Bush in November. My gut feeling is that way too many Americans have been suckered into this propaganda that the economy is good and that Bush is the best warrior against terrorism.

I'm also thinking that if Bush gets re-elected that he'll be impeached and driven from office within two years. The country is too polarized for people to sit on their hands after a Bush re-election and the Bush regime has so many hare-brained schemes flying around that one or several will come crashing down.

Don't get me started on this Anybody But Bush nonsense. The Dems are just as bad as the Republicans.

That's just my humble Joe-pinion.
