>OELWEIN, Iowa (Reuters) - Dale Ungerer, a 66-year-old retiree from Hawkeye,
>Iowa, succeeded on Sunday where eight Democratic presidential hopefuls have
>failed -- he made front-runner Howard Dean (news - web sites) show a flash

Give me that old-time religion; let me strangle it. By Ungerer's reasoning, of course, the election itself is an affront to decency since any truly generous people should be willing to let Bush keep right on doing his thing.

Period. I think Dean should have told St. Dale of Hawkeye, "Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not righteous fury, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. So get stuffed." That's from Dean's favorite book of the New Testament, BTW -- the Gospel According to St. Job ;-)
