I don't understand Woj's antipathy to psychotherapy. Even Szasz and the "anti-psychiatry" crowd aren't this dismissive of psychological interventions (Szasz in fact conducted therapy with clients, even though he rejected the "mental illness" model). There are literally thousands of studies that clearly demonstrate the efficacy of psychological interventions for a wide array of problems from depression to phobias to attention deficit disorder. Why Woj ignores these data is strange to me.
