I have a friend who's a shrink (in the bay area) and one of the most incredible things he's told me has to do with the number of patients that are sent to him by referring physicians who are simply incapable of talking about sex. My friend has "cured" anxiety attacks by simply explaining how birth control works. Obviously this is not just about people finding the info, it's also about someone "trustworthy" giving it to them.
