Fascinating little fact reported in Lieven's America Right Or Wrong: 
according to a survey by the American Jewish Cmte, 54% of American 
Jews opposed the war in Iraq, and 43% supported it - almost 20 points 
below the national average support, which was 62%. Makes it a little 
harder to paint the war as a Zionist frolic.
