This is an astonishing claim. Heterosexuals in our society enjoy many social and political advantages over other sexual identity groups. CB's post kinda reminds me of the recent Gallup poll that reported whites' perception that racism is not that big of a problem in our society anymore.

(When you belong to the privileged group, you tend to take your privileges for granted.)
