Jefferson brought many of his slaves to work in the White House since there was no White House staff at
the time. Edy Fossett and Fanny Bowles are two of Jeffersons slaves that records prove were used as staff
while Jefferson occupied the White House. I'm sure there were others as well. These two are well known
because of claims concerning Jeffersons sexual escapades.
