Not just the hawks but the fairhaired boy of the DP "left," Obama, has approved of "precision" bombing of (alleged) nuclear installations in Iran. As we know, if the (allegedly) "reasonable" people in the Senate (e.g., the late Senator Wellstone) approve of "reasonable" invasions, _in practice_ that is to give full and unqualified support to whatever war crimes the White House wnats to perpetrate.
The U.S. ruling class has gone bonkers, not just the neocons, and nothing the electorate, as an electorate, can do is going to bring that class back to reason.
