Huh? He was "former chief economist for the Department of Labo." That's not a top official - that's a functionary. And he's a resident of the conservative think tank world - "director of the Criminal Justice Center at the National Center for Policy Analysis in Dallas." How do you know he's not just another right-wing nut?
