That's exactly what it amounts to. I don't know how many people on LBO-Talk have weird, fucked up ideas of anarchism because of Chuck0 but the numbers can't be small. You'd *have* to be an unemployed internet nerd to be able to tirelessly advocate the bizarre particular view on anarchism Chuck0 does.

And the whole "I dunno about you, but I'm down here in the trenches with the REAL movement" posturing is really fucking old.

"As to their economical conceptions, the anarchists, in common with all socialists, of whom they constitute the left wing, maintain that the now prevailing system of private ownership in land, and our capitalist production for the sake of profits, represent a monopoly which runs against both the principles of justice and the dictates of utility."

Bookchin, Chomsky, and modern anarchists like Janet Biehl, etc. agree with this. Even the French queer activist & anarchist Daniel Guerin makes this case in his excellent _Anarchism_, which has an intro by Noam Chomsky. But Chuck0 thinks it's all bunk -- "and all real anarchists are with me."

Whatever!
