Newspapers don't do factchecking. But you'd think the author might make some effort to get things straight. Not Rifkin, though. Ever read SJ Gould's review of his earlier piece of biotech angst? Rifkin got all kinds of basic things wrong, from biology to the physical appearance of the Galapagos Islands.
