Just the other day (23/9/05 2:12 pm), Doug Henwood opined:
> So how many people are going to DC tomorrow to demand an end to the war?
> I'm just not hearing much talk about it, so I'm wondering about turnout.

count three more: me, the spouse, and baby, will be there.

i must say that i am a little disappointed with UFPJ:

their bus info link, all of y'day (and probably before that and after) came up with "no such page". i emailed them about the problem, mentioning that i could volunteer to help with web work, if needed.

i emailed them what i think is very useful info: amtrak currently has a deal where groups of 6 can get 90% of ticket price for passengers 3-6, thus reducing cost to approximately $50 or so, per person.

i have not received any response nor have they (as far as i could tell, as of y'day) posted the info (about the train) on their website.

in the meantime, on their mailing list, IIRC, i have already started receiving info and reminders for the next rally!!

perhaps, i should've pinged ANSWER, instead.
