Dead right. And what's more, in the case of GE, they'll admit to it openly. Not that ideology is without its ... rewards. Ask a GE LR type why the company isn't interested in reaping the cost savings that single payer affords and he'll tell you outright that those savings aren't offset by ideological. He'll also tell you that without unregulated medical markets the company has nowhere to sell GEMS products -- or at least nowhere get the price it would like to command.
