Noonan's an interesting character, I think. She's a terrifically pleasing and suave writer, but she doesn't have a damn thing to say, or an idea in her head worth spending two seconds on.
Even so, you don't care -- you'd follow her to the ends of the earth. Vox et praeterea nihil, as Ovid says -- a voice and nothing more. But what a voice!
