its not about fighting the government on an individual basis, you know as well as i do that the last thing the governemtn would want is to get into a shooting war with its citizens. any time that has happened, even on an individual scale like ruby ridge or waco, the governemtn loses all credibility and looks like the villain. the point is not to fight the government yourself, the point is to not allow them to dictate your rights. and by the way, your reading of the second ammendment is absolute brainwashing propaganda, the second amendment is written in 18th century language where the first clause is not the subject, read any of the Federalist or Anti-Federalist papers, or anything Ben Franklin wrote the language structure is similar...the key point is not the "well-regulated militia" but rather the subject clause "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" PERIOD!, any argument on this point is simply poor reading of the actual text
