Perhaps. It's a big country, as you say. At least with young reactionaries, you know where they stand and what their game is. Harder to gauge young liberals, who tend to cling to nationalist myths a bit more, since they feel the national character is, at heart, as liberal as them. Still, they're probably good about queer marriage, so there's that.
