It took me a while to get Twitter. It's good for fast streams of news and
scanning, quick msgs, and publishing links to blog posts (via Twitterfeed)

Friendfeed lets you aggregate your feeds and sources from everywhere into
one place, with robust commenting, groups, ability to post photos, etc.

I sometimes get more comments on Facebook to a blog post than on the blog
itself. You too probably.
