Taibbi is not revealing some great unknown truth to us. He's just saying in his way what people already assume to be so, what people experience every day, whether or not they read the Financial Times or the NIPA. That's fine so far as it goes, but contra the persistent fantasy of many leftists, delivering such a message unto the masses is not enough. Everyone already knows that The System is fucked. What nobody knows, including especially the prophetic left, is what to do about it.
