Well, it would be a very kewl one if Obie does get us "out". But what reason is there to think that that's what he wants to do?

The policy of "reaching out to the moderates" -- mentioned with approval by CB a coupla days ago -- is a way of staying in, not getting out. The English translation of this Orcspeak is "bribing whichever locals will stay bought for more than twelve hours."

The best you can say about the bribery strategy is that it's a slightly less *conspicuous* way of staying in. Would CB really consider that a big step forward?

Of course, it's an easier form of occupation for liberals to ignore. There is that.
