Get two or three people who agree with you on this, print up a leaflet and distribute it here and there until you get maybe another 10 who see it as worth trying, then go to work collecting money for a quarte-page ad in your local paper, calling a rally to form a local organization under some slogan saying "Get the Insurance Companies Out of the Medical Business." See what happens. If you get some more people (on what by this time if its working will also have a e-list), you can maybe establish a weekly demo someplace in your locality damning the nsurance companies and urging the need for single-payer to get the insurance companies out of the medical Business. ("Do You Want an AIG Executive to Choose YOUR Doctor?")
And if you can hold local demonstrations once a week of 100+ people (in a locality with, say, a population of 100,000 to 1 million) then you should be able in this age of the internet to attract people in other cities (or organizations already doing somekthing) to join with you in a national group (make it just a jpropaganda and internal comunications group, not a Party laying down the law -- you want other unconnected groups coordinating with you as you with them.
And prtty soon you might have amovement going. Who knows. And maybe you wont' So you go out and try somekthign else.
