The Hungarian Communists didn't come to power by an "uprising"--they were handed state power by Karolyi. The ultra-leftism was in the agrarian, nationalities, and red-terror policies imposed by Kun and Szamuelly that led directly to the counterrevolution of Horthy backed by the Romanian army.
