I'm reading Barcelona Plates. I was expecting something light, entertaining and forgettable like Rick Mayall's pseudo-autobiography, but man this is dark. Some of this stuff reminds me of Ballard's Concrete Island (my favorite Ballard book).
Really a very talented writer.
