Polanski drugged and raped someone than then said "If your going to do
anything other than offer me a painless sweetheart deal as punishment
then I'm leaving."
"Your laws don't apply to me because I am a rich white artiste. I am
entitled to preferential treatment and I demand it now!"
Why would anyone imagine Polanski should be punished for this is sure a
mystery.
