i'm not really sure what you're talking about, but sometimes people just 
like to talk offlist. this is an intimidating list and sometimes ppl don't 
want to get embroiled in a debate, getting piled on, so they write offlist. 
Ruthless critic was writing to both of us to do just that I suspect. chill.
