The problem is that you need to tell us what you mean by social justice. It is a subjective term and many of the discussions/debates/arguments that appear here actually revolve around that distinction, although possibly unknown to even those involved. The term is simply quite useless.
As for Ted's comments- he is operating at a different level of abstraction than some/most here. You should read and learn from them but you need to understand the level that they are coming from and how it might be different from (integrated with) your own. I have no idea why you would call it Stalinist (which is itself a subjective term)?
