By allowing non-official stories, reports, critiques, links, etc. to flow with little interruption. What if Wikileaks and the Web had been around during Vietnam? Central America? You honestly believe that this wouldn't worry our owners and their scribes? The Web isn't magical or perfect, and there's a lot of disinformation. But if it wasn't having an effect, then why do state agencies try to manipulate (covertly or overtly) the info flow, when not trying to block it altogether?
