What is truly pathetic about the new left commentariat talk about the
OBL assassination is not that much what they are saying but when and
how.  The routine killing of ordinary civilians in Iraq and
Afghanistan has been going for almost 10 years, but few have been
paying much attention to it, save  waning protests against these wars
in general.  Then comes the assassination of  a major celebrity
figure.  Sure enough, the new left commentariat, one by one,  has to
say something  that sounds profound about it, outbidding each other in
condemning the event in the strongest possible words.  It seems that
it is not the act itself but rather the celebrity status of the victim
that generated the zeal.  Where were these self-styled defenders of
justice when anonymous civilians were blown into pieces?  Busy
pontificating about the evils of the Obama's administration, it seems.

 These commentators are like fleas trying  to pass to relevance on the
back of the dog that they are biting.  Pathetic - just like the right
wing talk show radio hosts.
