Every fucking Marxist almost has this trouble, not just Doug. No one is trying to overthrow capitalism just now. That would be juvenile. OWS is merely, MERELY! a popular uprising. Its complete, unqualified success in spreading is the whole damn thing. And a popular uprising neither does things correctly nor makes mistakes. A hurricane doesn't make mistakes; it just is. But it sure as fucking hell does create a situation that people have to operate in.

OWS has totally changed the U.S. political CLIMATE. That's all!!!!!! Marxists, Anarchists, radical reformers should simply be leaping with joy, lending a hand when they can, and going about their own business in this new climate. OWS is not a Party. It is not a Party Program. It is not going to become a Party; it is not going to procliam a Party Program. Any 'criticism' of it takes it as a Party Program, and that is playing games in the sandbox. Irrelevant because it will not affect OWS in the least. If Jodi and Doug want a pseudo-Leninist (actually Stalinist/Trotskyist) Party they are wasting their time 'criticizing' OWS for not doing their work for them. Implicitly debates like this are a confession of impotence. They don't know how to start a Party so they are hoping to nag someone else to do it for them.

Pshaw!*
