[WS:} Yup.  Besides, their opposition to "big state" is a code word
for their opposition to "big welfare."  They have no problems with a
big police, or military-industrial complex state keeping the unwashed
masses under its boot.

The nasty aftertaste left by British thinking about the state is
paralleled only by the nasty aftertaste left by the British cooking
