Below is a link to Marwan Bishara's Empire panel discussion of the general 
state of Arab spring revolutions. It's a very mixed bag. Listen to all the 
assessments. These pretty much reflect what I think and it's hard to 
determine if these were really mine in the first place.

The most interesting observation comes from the woman panelist who noticed 
an inverse index, the more women, the less military violence, the more 
military violence, the fewer women involved.

But wait there is more. After the panel closed Bishara interviewed the 
leading political figure of the Muslim Scholars who presides over the main 
party in Tunisia. This interview occurs at 39:26-9/mins into the program.
