[WS:] This sums it up quite nicely. I would only add one more reason
for using jargon, obfuscation of the weakness of one's own position -
due either to objectively weak (= unable to explain empirical
phenomena) science (e.g. economics), or to personal inability to
formulate a convincing rational argument on the subject matter at
hand.
