1. You see no evidence? What do you mean? You think this evidence is published in the local papers?

2. Cops don't frame people? You heard of stop and frisk? You heard of for profit prisons working with judges to fill beds?

3. The administration is scandal free? You've heard about to big to fail? You've heard about mortgage fraudsters walking free? You've heard about the revolving door between Wall St and the govt?

4. You are an extraordinarily cynical man; it surprises me that you don't see the potential for corruption and abuse in the data sweep business.

5. And then there's the question of expense; with schools and infrastructure falling apart, do you think the best the govt can do with money is to spend it on this sort of operation?

----- Original Message ----- I see no evidence of what you are talking about. Despite the vastly increased surveillance capacity, the instances of cops framing someone are rare, comparing to the past, which suggest demilitarization. Unless someone is stupid enough to brag about their illegal activities using open communication channels, which is no different than shouting about in public. They ask to be busted.

It is the critics who are becoming hysterical. this administration is remarkably scandal free, which is problem for the US political discourse that thrives on mud throwing and bombast. If they cannot find real mud, they make it up.

Sorry, but I did not intend to offend you, if I inadvertently did, I apologize.
