The repressive power of the "bourgeois democratic state" in general, of the
present u.s. state in particular, is so great, so eff3ctive, that there
would be no purpose in attempting to create an imitation of the eastern &
southern European fascisms of the 1930s.

The usual purpose for yelling, FASICISM IS COMING, is to provide
self-justification for those u.s. leftists who wish to huddle under the DP.
In other words, it's just one of the variations of supporting the
foolishness of Voting for The (ALLEGED) Lesser Evil.
